1895–1952

Foundation, northern titles and a fresh start

  1. First Northern German championship

    A 3–1 final victory over Victoria Hamburg brings Eintracht their first Northern German championship.

    The win earns a place in the national championship finals.

  2. A second Northern German title

    Eintracht win the final at Victoria Hamburg 3–2.

    The delayed Northern German competition finishes after the national championship final, preventing participation in that year’s national finals.

1980–2008

Relegations and hard-fought returns

  1. Lower Saxony Cup on penalties

    Eintracht win the final at Hannover’s reserve team 3–2 on penalties after a 2–2 draw.

    Jan Zimmermann scores both Braunschweig goals and converts the decisive spot kick.

2011–2017

Titles and the road back to the Bundesliga

  1. Cup success completes the season

    A 2–1 win at Kickers Emden adds the Lower Saxony Cup to Eintracht’s successful season.

    Promotion and the third-tier title are followed by their second state cup after 2004.
