    Following the end of Olympique de Cette, Football Club de Cette was formed in 1914. Its spelling followed the town name used at the time.

  2. 1927–1988
    FC SèteOfficial name: Football Club de Sète

    When the town changed its official spelling, FC de Cette became FC Sète in 1927. The club won the French championship under this name in 1934 and 1939.

    FC Sète 34Official name: Football Club de Sète 34

    After leaving professional football, the club added 34 for the Hérault department in 1989.
