Nationwide competition held twice to determine Turkey’s representative in the European Cup. Beşiktaş won in 1956–57 and 1957–58. The TFF recognised both achievements for its Turkish championship and star count in 2002; as a distinct competition they remain separate from the Süper Lig title lineage that began in 1959.
