The Danish men’s League Cup was staged in 1972–73 and 1973–74, then as the Carlsberg Grand Prix from 1980 through 1986. The 1996 Spar Cup was a reserve competition, while the 2005 and 2006 Tele2 LigaCup used 45-minute matches and was not recognised as official by the DBU. Those events are therefore excluded from the first-team title lineage.
