FA Community Shield | Football Database

First played in 1908, the English super cup was called the FA Charity Shield through 2001 and has been the FA Community Shield since 2002. FODB treats both names as one continuous title line. The Sheriff of London Charity Shield was a separate predecessor and is not counted retrospectively. Until 1991, a draw could result in a shared title.
