The DFB-Hallenpokal was the official final tournament of the German men's indoor tournament series. It was staged as the DFB-Hallen-Masters from 1988 to 1997 and as the DFB-Hallenpokal from 1998 to 2001. The 1987 tournament organised by the Bild newspaper is treated only as an unofficial precursor and does not count towards the official title line. The competition was discontinued after 2001 and is distinct from both the DFB-Pokal and the German futsal championship.
