About the stadium

Europa-Park Stadion opened on October 7, 2021 with SC Freiburg beating St. Pauli 3-0. The new ground in the Brühl district replaced Dreisamstadion as the first team’s home. It accommodates 34,700 spectators, with 22,800 seats and 11,900 standing places. The natural-grass pitch measures 105 × 68 metres. Stadion Freiburg Objektträger GmbH & Co. KG owns the ground, which is operated by SC Freiburg.
