Bruchwegstadion

About the stadium

The municipal sports ground opened in 1929. Mainz 05 used it before the war and became its tenant in 1949. It was the first team’s home until 2011 and subsequently remained a match and training venue for the club’s development teams. The entire site has been called Wolfgang Frank Campus am Bruchweg since 2021; the ground itself remains Bruchwegstadion. The club website lists 7,134 places for regular matches; the nominal structural capacity is higher.
